Separate administration unacceptable : Nishikant

MLA Nishikant Singh Sapam who is also the Chairman of the Manipur Legislative Assembly's Privilege and Ethics Committee has stated that he would present a strong case against the Kuki MLAs' demand for separate administration.
Members of Keishamthong Irom Pukhri Mapal, Kwakeithel Nganappithong Mapal Social Welfare Club and Meira Paibis of the two localities submitted a memorandum to the MLA today.
The five-point memorandum categorically said no to the Kuki MLAs' demand for separate administration.
Asserting that the integrity of Manipur should not disturbed under any circumstances, the memorandum also demanded abrogation of SoO with Kuki militants.

After receiving the memorandum, MLA Nishikant said, "I have been saying repeatedly that the integrity of Manipur cannot be challenged under any circumstances" .
He said that the State Assembly's Privilege and Ethics Committee would initiate necessary procedures against the 10 Kuki MLAs with regard to their demand for separate administration.
