Ist anniv of ACADO celebrated

There can be love and unity among all the different groups of people living in Manipur when they understand and appreciate each other's culture and tradition, Deputy Director of Manipur State Archives Dr K Shushila has stated.
She was speaking as Chief Guest of the Ist foundation day celebration of Aimol Custom and Cultural Development Organisation (ACADO) at Aimol Ngairang village under Tengnoupal Block of Chandel district.
Dr Shushila said that there are in all 36 recognised tribes in Manipur today.
Even if there is no common written historical record for all these 36 tribes, there can be love and unity among them when they understand and appreciate each other's culture and tradition.
Presided over by President of Aimol Students; Union Pu Pangpa, the celebration was also attended by L Darsino Aimol, MCS, CEO ADC Chandel; Wanneilen Serto Aimol, MFS, Sub-Treasury Officer of Moreh; Ch Thangkholian Aimol, Assistant Inspector of Schools (Civil Work) and Co-ordinator of SSA Zonal Education Office, Chandel as Guests of Honour and C Doungel, fomer Finance Minister as Special Guest.
Representatives of various social organisations including NIPCO; IMOM; AMKIL, MEEKHOL, Nupi Samaj, CADA, etc were also present on the occasion.
