Besides, a village is half divided by the fencing rendering the villagers to be displaced.
The Chanura Marup has also submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister of India through the Governor today.
In the memorandum, the Marup demanded ceasing of constructing the Indo-Myanmar border fencing on the Indian sector; involving village chiefs in border demarcation process and conducting survey of the Indo-Myanmar border within August 30 .
