Even those who attend classes tend to hastily cover 2/3 chapters in a day with the intention of completing the syllabus so that they could remain at home, alleged the students.
It is said that they decided to launch peaceful agitation for their earlier appeals to the ZEO to take relevant measures for deputing sufficient number of teaching staff did not evoke positive response till date.
According to the ZEO Th Ketuki problems besetting Ahmedabad High School have already been intimated to the Director (Education) but no further instruction has been received.
The ZEO, nevertheless, affirmed that suitable action would be taken against those teachers who do not report for duty regularly.
