FESOK inspects Govt schools

Federal Students' Organisation, Kangleipak (FESOK) has found that no students of Ch Iboyaima High School, Yaiskul and Singjamei Chingamakha High School cleared the recently declared HSLC examination conducted by BOSEM during a school survey conducted by the student body today.
With regards to the school survey, FESOK in a statement shared that during the survey conducted at Ch Iboyaima High School, FESOK discovered that the school had only 8 teachers, out of which one was a utilized teacher.
Further, the school had a total of 60 students but only 30 students were present for classes.
FESOK stated that the school lacks an adequate number of teachers and the school infrastructure leaves much to be desired.
At Singjamei Chingamakha High School, FESOK found that 22 teachers were employed in the school out of which 17 were utilized teachers.
The school had a total of 243 students.
As such, FESOK has urged the State Government to take up appropriate measures to improve these schools.
The student body also launched a drug awareness initiative under the theme "Student community stands against the abuse of illicit substances" at International Modernized Academy (IMA) School, Konung Mamang today.
FESOK has also called for people's support in connection with the school survey and drug awareness initiative launched by the student body.
