AMUCO's textbook distribution campaign kicks off

Imphal, April 06 2023:
In a bid to uplift the poor and needy sections of the society, All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation (AMUCO) started the initiative of distributing textbooks to the students who belong to economically backward households.
AMUCO in a statement informed that the above initiative is being taken up as a part of its continued philanthropic activities and as per the request made by different local clubs across the State to help the students who belong to poor and needy households.
Under this initiative, text books of Class I to X prescribed by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) are being distributed.

The book distribution programme was launched at AMUCO Head Office today attended by AMUCO Secretary General Dr Norendro Thokchom; Assistant Secretary N Lokendro and executive member Santikumar.
AMUCO further informed that similar book distribution programmes will be held in different parts of the State.
In view of the requests made by certain orphan homes with regards to the textbook shortage issue, AMUCO assured that measures have been taken up to distribute text books for the inmates of these homes.
