Imphal, April 06 2023:
Chief Minister N Biren has claimed that 90 per cent of all BJP workers including Ministers and MLAs are driven by a strong sense of nationalism.
The difference between BJP and other political parties is that BJP loves the Nation and works in the interest of the public after keeping aside all personal interests, asserted Biren while speaking at the 43rd foundation day anniversary of BJP observed today at the Nityaipat Chuthek office of BJP Manipur Pradesh.
He said that building a strong united Manipur and India and framing policies and programmes for the welfare of the people are responsibilities of BJP and all party workers.
The primary purpose of the BJP Government is ensuring peace and ease of living to all the people, he said.

Governance is basically about enacting policies and programmes for the welfare of the people and ensuring security of all the citizens, the Chief Minister elaborated.
Conveying best wishes to all the people on the foundation day of BJP, Biren claimed that India is now able to export defence equipment worth Rs 16,000 crore lakhs following the instalment of the BJP Government led by Narendra Modi unlike in the past when India depended heavily on foreign countries for arms and defence equipment.
While Deendayal Upa-dhyaya worked for a political party based on humanism, Syama Prasad Mukherjee enthused the same party with Nationalism.
Following the footsteps of these founders, BJP has been working to build a strong and united India, Biren said.
Following the scrapping of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a united India has been created, he claimed.
Saying that the destiny of India should be shaped by the people of India, he asked what good those people who have a tendency to beg and depend on others, particularly the one that looted India would do for the country.
All the replicas of the traditional houses of 35 ethnic tribes/communities of Manipur built at Sangai Ethnic Park by the BJP State unit are symbols of a united Manipur and BJP, Biren said.
He said that 35 museums where traditions of every tribe and community are displayed have also been built.
There is no difference among the different communities of Manipur and every religious group must respect other groups, the Chief Minister said.
Nowadays, people would not be hearing about corruption or bribery during recruitment to Government jobs.
Reports or comments of securing Government jobs without bribery or corruption abound in social media, he claimed.
Even if there are grievances among the party members, the same should be resolved within the party, without taking it outside.
"All family matters must be resolved within the family", Biren said.
Earlier, the party's foundation day messages of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP National president JP Nadda were relayed and played at the gathering.
Former BJP Manipur Pradesh president M Bhorot was also present at the gathering, among others.
