U-14 boys' cricket: Easy wins for AL-AMEEN, PCC, YWC, TCMDC

Imphal, February 18 2024:
AL-AMEEN, Lilong; PCC, Mayai Koibi; YWC, Langthabal; and TCMDC, Thongju-II scored easy wins against their respective opponents in league matches of the 3rd MNCA U-14 Boys' Tournament on Sunday.
Umar (78) propelled AL-AMEEN to a massive total of 300/7 in 30 overs against KCC, Kongba Bazar at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium.
With six wickets Shohei Akter led AL-AMEEN bowlers in halting the KCC run chase for a paltry 48 in 16.4 overs.
At THAU Ground, Thangmeiband, PCC won by 112 runs against TRAU, Kwakeithel riding on 165 runs by Lucky Thokchom.
In reply, TRAU could manage only 139 for the loss of eight wickets in the allotted overs.
Meanwhile, YWC defeated PTCC, Patsoi Part III by 6 wickets at Kongba Khunou Dhobi Lampak, after the latter scored 99 all out in 27.2 overs, batting first.
The target was overhauled by YWC in 21.2 overs with the loss of 4 wickets with Seram Tondonsana (31) and Sanathoi Sanjenbam (30) contributing the most runs.
In another match of the tournament at PTRC Ground, Patsoi Part-IV, TCMDC outplayed YESS-DAN, Ningthoukhong by 150 runs.
Vishonath Laishram played captain's knock of 98 with ample support from Moirangthem Romesh Sjngh (56) to take TCMDC total to 239/4 in 30 overs.
In reply, YESSDAN could only muster 89 as TCMDC's Nongshaba Sapam claimed four wickets.
