Longmai CSOs demand release of backlogged NFSA ration

The Villages Council Longmai Area, Noney District and various CSOs of Longmai Village have urged the concerned authorities to release the five months backlog of NFSA ration.
During a press meet held today at Longmai Bazar, the CSO leaders urged the CAP & PD, Manipur and the local MLA to look into the matter of NFSA rice which has been unreleased for the months of July, August, November, December of 2023 and January of 2024 .
The Longmai area CSO leaders reported that the alleged misuse of NFSA ration meant for underprivileged people and blaming it on the current restive situation will not be accepted by the public of Longmai area.
The leaders have urged the concerned authorities to take up necessary action within four days, failing which the CSOs of Longmai Area will launch various agitations from the next day.
