Futsal : NEROCA FC draw ESU; MIUFC, Poloi FC register wins

Imphal, October 30 2023: NEROCA FC played out a 3-3 draw with ESU in the ongoing Col Ksh Arunkumar Memorial 3rd Inter Club FUTSAL Tournament 2023-24 being underway at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.

NEROCA FC went ahead after 7 minutes with Md Isra Khan finding the target before Lairenjam Sushil Singh made it 2-0 with a clinical finish in the 16th minute.

M Pravin however struck two goals back two back within a span of a minute (19th) for ESU to make it 2-2 at half time.

ESU overturned the lead in the 31st minute through Ningthoujam Sanathoi but NEROCA FC made their way back into the game with Lairenjam Sushil scoring his second in the 36th minute.

In the second match, Mayang Imphal United FC (MIUFC) defeated KRYPHSA in a 9-goal thriller as Gunajit Potsangbam (8', 22', 38', 40') scored four goals alone and Thongam Rabichandra scored one in 30th minute.

For KRYPHSA, Thounaojam Diyason scored twice (20', 33') and Nimaichand (40') and Sougrakpam Dharmajoy (28') scored a goal apiece.

Meanwhile the third match was a lopsided encounter with Poloi FC demolishing Manipur Sports House (MSH) 8-0 riding on a treble by Sagolshem Santosh (13', 14', 20') .

Ahanthem Sonalish also added twice for the winning team (36', 40') as Md Wajit (30') and Soibam Drunao (38') added a goal each.

The other goal came in the form of an own goal conceded by Rickson Yumlembam in the 27th minute.
