Rajningthou Memorial Trophy : Kaiku blazes off 56-ball 102, picks five to hand AKSDO fifth win

Kaiku starred with a masterful knock of 56-ball 102 and enjoyed a fifer as ASKDO cruise to fifth Group A victory in the 4th MNCA U-16 Boys Naorem Rajningthou MEmorial Trophy by thrashing TRAU by 156 runs at Kongba Dhobi Lampak.
AKSDO won the toss and collected 229 for 4 wickets in allotted 35 overs thanks to Kaiku (102*), Chingamba (22*), Bishorjit (41) and Samson (20) and then held TRAU to 73 all out within 18.1 overs as Kaiku (5/8 in 5 overs) and Nungshiba (4/28 in 5.1 overs) blew their batting line up apart.

Swabhiman had claimed 3 wickets earlier in AKSDO innings before their chase proved disastrous.
Preetson was the highest run getter for TRAU with 21 runs as other batters fell cheaply.
All rounder Kaiku was adjudged man of the match.
RCA too earned fifth win in 6 Group A matches, crushing MPA by 90 runs to spice up the semi-final race at Lairenjam Public Ground.
RCA won the toss and racked up 201 runs for 7 after opting to bat first and successfully bowled out MPA for 101 runs in 28.1 overs.
Zuned (64*), Anush (34), Alfash (26) and Danish (21) were the main run getters for RCA before Danish (3/31 in 7 overs), Nawaj (2/17) and Naesh (2/25) excelled in the bowling to set up MPA collapse.
Lucky (34) and Rohit (29) were the only double digit scorers for the Thounaojam team.
Zuned of RCA who added 64 runs and picked a wicket was adjudged man of the match.
The day also saw ESU securing fifth Group B win by defeating TCMDC by 64 runs at Model Hr Sec School and Oriental College Ground courtesy a man of the match performance from H Donba.
ESU posted a lowly total of 140/8 but defended it well by bundling out TCMDC for 76 runs in 21.4 overs thanks to S Abhinas (3/28) and H Donba (3/7) .
H Donba (41) and Kh Bishomcha (21*) were the main run getters for ESU in the innings which saw Kh Prakash (3/29) and M Thomsan (2/29) sharing a bulk of 5 wickets.
In the chase, Rain scored 40 runs for TCMDC but other batters failed horribly.
Elsewhere at Khangabok Part III, Blue Hawk registered their fifth win in the Group B competition with a 98-run thrashing of YPHUC.
Blue Hawk opted to bat first but were bundled out for 157 runs in 33.2 overs despite Siddarth scoring a painstakingly slow 82-ball 53 but bowlers did well to cut short the YPHUC chase at 59 within 15.4 overs.
YPHUC's Prince managed three wickets in the Blue Hawk innings before Distaraj (3/20), Romesh (3/1 in 2 overs) and Nongdamba (2/9 in 4 overs) broke left the YPHUC batters in tatters.
Siddarth of Blue Hawk was adjudged man of this match.
