Assam Rifles extends helping hand

In a remarkable display of compassion, the personnel of 4 Assam Rifles came forward to donate blood for a child suffering from pneumonia today at JNIMS.
A total of five units of blood was donated to aid in the child's recovery, said a statement.
The parents of the child expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Assam Rifles for this invaluable support during their child's illness.
Meanwhile, the 4 Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (S) Mantripukhri distributed warm clothes to the displaced people taking refuge at Chingmeirong relief camp.

Commanding Officer, Colonel Sandeep Mishra along with 4 officers of Assam Rifles attended the function.
The distribution programme was followed by an interaction session with the displaced people where they shared the hardships faced by them amid these trying times.
The Assam Rifles stepped forward to distribute the warm clothes considering the need of these crisis affected people who are facing immense challenges.
