PTRC, PCC, AKSDO and Blue Hawk all emerged dominant Winners in Sunday's fixtures of the 4th MNCA U16 Boys Naorem Rajningthou Memorial Trophy 2023-24 .
PTRC produced an all-round performance to thrash RULE by 290 runs at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium.
Electing to bat, Robinson's 167 of 95 balls and Richie's 115 off 81 balls helped PTRC post a mammoth total of 363 for 3 in the allotted 35 overs.
The innings also saw Ngambarel score an unbeaten 22 off 19, while Stoneson hit 4 not out and James added 7.After their scorching batting outburst, PTRC took 25.2 over to wipe out RULE'S batting order for 73 for their emphatic win.
Jameson and Ngambarel equally shared six wickets between them, while Bhu-son claimed two scalps and Benson had one for the winning side.
PCC, meanwhile, secured a 60-run win over Model at Oriental College Ground.
Asked to bat first, PCC were dismissed for 188 for 8 .
In the innings, Lucky Thokchom smashed 86 off 62, Dilsan Oinam was unbeaten on 34, Ajay Kumar scored 30, Kangjamba Thokchom got 5 and Laishram Rojer got dismissed for 1 .
PPC then dished out a disciplined bowling attack to bundle out Model for 128 in 26.5 overs as Bishal Ningombam's 50 went in vain.
In their triumph, Pravin Kumar scalped three wickets, Ajay Kumar and Lucky Thokchom picked up two each, and P Yoimayai and N Prasanta took one.
At Cherapur, AKSDO inflicted a six-wicket defeat on PTCC.
PTCC chose to bat first and had a dismal innings that saw them manage just 62 runs after being bowled out in 13.4 overs.
Lanchenba and Kaiku bowled well to claim three wickets apiece while Sanayai snapped two and Suranjit took one to lay the foundation for their victory.
In their response, AKSDO took 16.5 overs to achieve the target with four wickets remaining.
Bishorjit (14), Kaiku (11), Ushman Ali (8 not out), Sanayai (7 not out), Paik-homba (5) and Samson (4) were the run-getters in their six-wicket success.
In the day's other match, Blue Hawk thumped SCCC by 151 runs at Dhobi Lampak, Kongba Khunou.
Put in to bat, Blue Hawk put up a competitive total of 244 for 7 courtesy of Ningdamba (41 not out), Rex (48), Siddarth (29), Nitish (25), Binson (20), Vicky (15) and Napolean (6).They then skittled out SCCC for 93 in 33.1 overs as Nandakeshwor took three wickets, with Siddarth, Wangthoi, Romesh and Binson chipping in with one scalp apiece.
