AKSDO register fourth win on trot; Blue Hawk cruise to third winRobinson, Ngambarel hit tons in PTRC's 290 run victory over RULE
AKSDO-Khangabok notched up fourth straight victory with a 6-wicket thrashing of PTCC-Patsoi Part III in 4th MNCA U-16 Boys Naorem Rajningthou Memorial Trophy Group A competition.
PTCC won the toss and opted to bat first at Public Ground Khangabok Part III, Cherapur.
They were however devastated by the AKSDO bowlers and were bundled out for just 62 runs with Nikhil topscoring with 11 runs.

Lanchenba (3/24 in 5 overs), Kaiku (3/2 in 2 overs) and Sanayai (2/8 in 5 overs) of AKSDO bowled terribly well in this innings to set up the PTCC collapse before they cruised to winning 64 losing 4 wickets in 16.5 overs.
Bishorjit (14), Kaiku (11) and Ushman Ali (8*) were the main run getters for AKSDO in the chase.
Kaiku Saikhom of AKSDO who bowled and batted well was adjudged man of the match.
In another Group A match staged at Model Hr Sec School and Oriental College Ground (Tera), PCC-Kwakeithel Mayaikoibi leave opened the winning account after two defeats with a 60 run victory over Model Club-Chingamakha.
Put in to bat first, PCC rode on an impressive 62-ball 86 from Lucky Thokchom and significant contributions from Ajay Kumar (30) and Dilshan Oinam (34*) to rack up 188 runs for 8 wickets.
Model, however, fizzled out in the chase and ended up adding 128 runs despite a 59-ball 50 from Bishal Ningombam as Pravin Kumar (3/20), Ajay Kumar (2/21) and Lucky Thokchom (2/27) of PCC made the light work of their batters.
Earlier in PCC innings, A Bobby (4/44) and Ch Chiran (3/18) had a good day out but their dismal batting performance handed them the second loss in four matches.
Lucky Thokchom of PCC who produced an allround performance was adjudged man of the match.
The day also saw Blue Hawk-Khurai ease to third Group B win with a huge 151 run win over SCCC-Singjamei Thongam Leikai at Kongba Dhobi Lampak.
Put in to bat first, Blue Hawk posted a huge total of 244 for 7 wickets and then held SCCC to 93 in 33.1 overs.
Rex (48), Nongdamba (41), Siddarth (29) and Nitish (25) were main run getters for Blue Hawk as Tomthinganba of SCCC picked up two wickets.
In the chase, Tomthinganba added the highest 17 runs before SCCC were bundled out for 93 in 33.1 overs.
Nandakeshwor of Blue Hawk returned with the best bowling figures of 2/30 in 4 overs as Siddarth, Wangthoi, Romesh and Binson picked up a wicket apiece.
In another Group B match, PTRC-Patsoi Part IV crushed RULE-Meitram Makha Leikai by 290 runs.
Richie (115 off 81 balls) and Robinson (167 off 95 balls) blazed off centuries as PTRC racked up a commanding total of 363 runs for 3 wickets after electing to bat first at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium.
Jackson (3/24 in 7 overs), Ngambarel (3/17 in 3 overs) and Bhuson (2/0 in 1.2 overs) then led in bowling out RULE for 73 runs.
