Wangoi MLA Kh Loken demands early solution

Wangoi MLA Kh Loken has urged the Central government to resolve the crisis in the state at the earliest while stating that further delay would compel National People's Party (NPP) to take a firm stand after consulting with national leaders.
He made the remark on the sidelines of a tribute service cum sit-in demonstration held against the murder of two students at Thongkhong Luxmi Bazar on Thursday.
Top Siphai, Yumnam Huidrom, Thiyam Leishangkhong Apunba Nupi Lup organised the programme.
Addressing the protestors after paying floral tributes to the two students, MLA Loken strongly condemned the murder of the teenager duo and termed the incident as an inhumane crime, which is not committed even during war times, and the perpetrators as barbaric.
Loken also urged the investigating agency to expedite the investigation and book the culprits at the earliest while conveying to all concerned that Manipur's MLAs in Delhi are mounting pres sure on the union home minister in this regard as well as for resolving the five-month long crisis at the earliest.
Protestors raised slogans against the murder of the two students and demanded swift justice.
