Student bodies take out peace rally

Six student bodies on Thursday took out a peace rally demanding justice for the two students Hemanjit and Linthoingambi, implementation of NRC, stringent action against Kuki narco-terrorists and condemning brutalities of central forces.
The peace rally that began from AIMS office, Kwakeithel passed through Keishampat till near the Governor's bungalow where the protestors staged sit in protest and later returned to Kwakeithel.
The protestors shouted slogans including 'We condemn killing of students', 'Implement NRC in Manipur', 'Long live Manipur', 'We Want Justice', 'Go Back Central Forces' and 'Eradicate Kuki narco-terrorists'.
Speaking on the sidelines, coordinator of the six student bodies Leishangthem Lamyanba demanded stringent punishment of the culprits involved in killing the two students.
They also denounced the atrocities of central forces towards the protesting students.
