The outfit also appealed people not to organise any form of entertainment programme or feast party on the day exc ept those related with religious ceremonies.
According to an RPF statement issued by deputy secretary of publicity Roben Khuman, it was for the future of t he oppressed people of Manipur that the brave fighters laid down their lives during the Kodompokpi battle and this battle guided the ongoing war for Manipur's independence.
All the courageous people who laid down their lives during the course of the struggle to regain the lost sovereignty of Manipur will ever remain as bright stars and the path laid by those brave souls became clearer.
However, India has been trying its level best to undermine and confuse people on the sacrificing thought and spirit of the martyred revolutionaries.
Instead of challenging India's policy of confusing the people, the state administration and its namesake intellectuals are helping the diabolic Indian policy.
With the creation of communal war, a suicidal war is being made people's issue and state administration according importance to the suicidal war orchestrated by India has further aggravated the situation.
Unable to understand the suicidal war orchestrated by the enemy, people are utilising all their resources and energy in the war now, the RPF statement said.
Questioning if the state government which supports India's policy and is taking the main role in shaping the present suicidal war could be called patriots, the RPF statement said state government fell into India's trap to distort the unify and integrity of Manipur.
Nevertheless, there is still time for the state government to heal the wounds Manipur suffered due to India's nefarious policy, the RPF said and suggested to stop any activity which would obstruct redeveloping a united Manipur or suit the enemy.
While calling upon the people to move to the path for developing a united Manipur, the RPF further suggested to discard emotion based thoughts and prevent ethnic polarization.
If this matter is not important, there is no point of observing martyrs day on August 13, Khongjom Day and Nupilan, the RPF said and reminded the people that discarded martyrs memori al tombs in every localities were not constructed for those killed in the tussle for contract works or in unethical business activities.
Deeply concerned over the lingering suicidal war, the RPF statement further said that there would be no war or allowed illegal immigrants to kill innocent civilians by arming them with sophisticated weapons had India considered people of Manipur as their own citizens.
A powerful country cannot remain silent when two ethnic communities are at war within its own territory for nearly one year, the RPF statement said adding that fate of not only future generation but also present generation would remain uncertain if people of Manipur fail to understand India's policy and strategies.
