SVEEP campaign ramps up

In connection with the ensuing 18 th Lok Sabha Election, 2024, SVEEP (Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation) Nodal Officerand his volunteers carried out a multimediaposter campaign for voter awareness at all Petrol Pump Outlets of Bishnupur district today under the guidance of the District Election Officer (DEO), Bishnupur.
The campaign aimed at strengthening the democratic processes by ensuring that citizens are well-informed about their rights and the importance of their participation in the election.
The campaign also emphasized the significance of voter enrolment and to encourage maximum turnout on polling day.
The Saksham App for voters with disabilities and the c-vigil App that empowers citizens by providing accessible platforms for engagement and reporting electoral malpractices are also displayed in the posters.
The multi-media campaign was launched by the District Icon Th Joseph Singh during a function held at the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner's Office earlier this week.
Notably, the DEO Bishnupur had also organized multiple voter awareness programmes on accessible elections for PwD Voters; Block Level Sports Program; District Level Neighbourhood Youth Parhament; etc to inform the voters on their rights under SVEEP campaign in different parts of the district.
Meanwhile, a cleanliness drive under Systematic Voter's Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign was held today at Longmai Bazar Noney District Headquarters.
The District Icons, Longmai Bazar Youth Club and Longmai Bazar Board under the Supervision of the District Administration, Noney carried out the cleanliness drive in connection to the ensuing 18th Lok Sabha Election 2024 .
The campaign was aimed at promoting a free and fair election and appealed to the first time voters, youths, senior citizens and voters of all ages to come out and vote and exercise their voting rights.
