Humanitarian aid extended

Many continue to extend humanitarian aid to the displaced people who are staying at various relief camps across the State in a bid to provide some relief and alleviate their problems caused by the prevailing tense situation.
To help the people affected by the ongoing conflict, a team of Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) led by its working president Victor Keishing today today distributed relief materials at the relief camps opened in Songpejang, Saikul Bazar and Phaizang UJB School.

Notably, a large number of displaced people belonging to the Kuki community are currently taking refuge at the relief camps set up in Saikul.
MPPCC general secretaries Amir Hussain, MD Wahidur Rahman, MD Siraj Ahamad and Badrar Rahman and secretaries Shahnaz Khan & Zakir Hussain also took part in the visit.
Moreover, like minded Meiteis from Pune, Maharashtra, today provided monetary assistance to the volunteers camping at Naranseina in Bishnupur district to defend the area.
