Kakching, August 31 2023:
CCIAN Forum Peace Committee provided edibles to village volunteers of Sing-da Kadangband Part (I) on Thursday.
According to Forum's media coordinator Rameshwor Elangbam the team led by convener Angomcha Ghingkhei also interacted with the villagers during which one Thoudam (o) Yamuna narrated the difficulties they have been facing since the conflict erupted on May 3.Relentless firing by Kukis has led to exodus of women and elderlies apart from affecting agricultural activities and education of their children, she said and appealed to the government to restore peace in the state, so that they can return back to their normal life.
