Workshop / production under CMAT conclude

Imphal, August 31 2023:
A workshop cum production on Pena Phamsak organised by ATINGA, an institute of performing arts and cultural identity, under the financial assistance of Chief Ministergee Artistessingee Tengbang (CMAT), Department of Art and Culture, concluded at the premises of ATINGA at Kwakeithel Akham Leikai in Imphal West district on Tuesday.
Former Pena artistes of Sana Konung Longjam Pishak, ATINGA president and retired DI of ADC Senapati Loitongbam Biramani, and State Kala Akademi awardee & JNMDA visiting Guru (Lai Haraoba) Pukhrambam Dhanajit attended the closing ceremony as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
Artistes of ATINGA presented six Pena productions as part of the workshop cum production event.
On the other hand, the 20-day workshop cum production on 'Nupi Khubak Eshei' organised by Guru Ibempishak Cultural Academy (GIPCA) under the CMAT Scheme culminated at the Shri Shri Radheshyam Mandop in Uripok Yambem Leikai on Thursday.
The closing function was attended by JN Manipur Dance Academy director Pukhrambam Bilash as chief guest and AIR former joint director (News) BB Sharma as president while PHED retired SE H Ibotombi, GIPCA advisors N Tampakleima and W Mema were present as guests of honour.
Later, the new production by GIPCA's team was presented to the audience, followed by distribution of certificates of appreciation to the artistes who attended the workshop.
