In the midst of the current crisis in Manipur, Sougaijam Binesh Singh, s/o S Birachandra Singh and Th Sandhyarani Devi, from Moirangkhom Sougaijam Leikai, Imphal West, stepped up and donated a significant quantity of medicines to aid those affected by the present unrest and seeking treatment at the Shija Hospitals & Research Institute Pvt.
Ltd.
(SHRI) on Monday.
"His commitment to alleviating the suffering of those in need is a shining example of community spirit and solidarity during challenging times.
The management of SHRI applauds the incredible generosity of Sougaijam Binesh Singh.
His selfless contributions serve as a reminder that, even in the face of challenges, compassion can unite communities and spark positive change", said SHRI in a release.
Meanwhile, Free Progress Academy, Konthoujam, has extended its appreciation to Oinam Yaima and his wife Keinahanbi from Sagoltongba Makha Leikai for providing food and stationery items to the displaced children staying at the Academy.
Free Progress Academy principal L Indrakumar shared that the academy has been helping a number of displaced students from Torbung, Churachandpur and other places by providing free education and boarding facilities, said a release.
Pointing out that the academy has not received any form of assistance from the Government or NGOs so far, he appealed to the public to consider the plight of the displaced children and provide their support to encourage & motivate them during these difficult times.
