Humanitarain aid extended, blood donation camp held

To help the people affected by the present unrest, Naoroibam Ibemhal Devi of Sagolband Tera Loukrakpam Leikai today provided relief materials to about 600 inmates staying in the relief camp set up at Manipur Trade & Expo Centre, Lamboikhongnangkhong, Imphal West district in memory of her late husband Naoroibam Bhuban Singh.
Naoroibam Ibemhal Devi along with her family members provided 5 bags of rice, 2 bags of potato, 1 bag of onion, edible oil, dal, ngari and mineral water to the relief camp.
Speaking to the media, Naoroibam Rina Devi shared that the relief material was provided to help the displaced people, provide some relief and alleviate their problems caused by the prevailing tense situation.

Calling for unity during these crucial junctures, she appealed to the State Government to make a concerted effort to restore peace & normalcy in Manipur.
On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, JCI Imphal Iconics today distributed essential food items at the relief camp opened in Tombisana High School, Khoyathong.
The relief camp is run by Thangmeiband Kendra Development Organisation (TAKDO) .
JCI Imphal Iconics president JC Lata Jain, secretary JC Dipika Jain, treasurer JC Sumaan and other members of JCI Imphal Iconics took part in the simple function.
In continuation of the humanitarian aid extended to the people affected by the ongoing conflict, Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Manipur State Branch today provided relief materials to 10 relief camps in Kakching district.
A team of IRCS consisting of IRCS Manipur State Branch chairman Narendra Ningomba, vice chairman Dr L Manglem Singh, secretary A Nabachandra, Kakching District Branch secretary Dharmadas, chairman Dr Rajkumar and treasurer Manihar provided the relief materials to about 259 displaced families taking shelter at relief camps set up in Kalyan Ashram Kakching, Yumbi Macha High School Kakching, Kangoi Community Hall, Kha Manipur College Kakching, Old Age Home Kakching, Sanatombi Hr Sec School Kakching, Elang Khangpokpi Mayai Mandop, Langmeidong Hr Sec School, Wabagai Hr Sec School and Hiyanglam Girls Junior School.
The relief material was provided in the form of Family Packs which included hygiene kit, kitchen set, woolen blanket and mosquito net.
IRCS Manipur State Branch also provided relief materials to the relief camps set up at Chingmeirong Upper Primary School and Heingang Kangjeibung Community Hall on Sunday.
Narendra Ningomba, Dr L Manglem Singh, A Nabachandra, National Management Committee member Dr Senjam Sunil Singh, IRCS Imphal East Branch joint secretary RK Depatajanjan and volunteers of IRCS took part in the event.
Moreover, IRCS Imphal West District Branch, organised a voluntary blood donation camp at RIMS to commemorate National Voluntary Blood Donation Day on Sunday.
The blood donation camp was conducted as a part of Ayushman Bhava Campaign, Seva Pakhwada-Raktdaan Mahadaan which started from September 17 till October 2, 2023 .
During the camp, volunteers of IRCS Imphal West District Branch and personnel of 32 BN CRPF Loktak Project donated 37 units of blood.
