Ranji Trophy: Manipur need 229 runs to win vs Sikkim

Manipur are looking at an arduous task to surmount against Sikkim on the fourth day (Friday) in their Ranji Trophy plate group semifinal match.
The state squad closed out the third day at 108/2 (at stumps), needing 229 runs to win.
Manipur started their second innings with Bikash scoring 64 off 112 balls as Ronal M made 23 off 77 balls.
Ronald was caught off P Ta-mang's bowling while Bikash fell to Anwesh Sharma.
Langlonyamba M, 16 not out, will be leading the state on resumption on Friday.
Earlier, Sikkim resumed their second innings and added 188 runs to their overnight score of 85 for 4 to finish with 273 (all out) .
Sumit (168), Ashish Thapa (30), Amkuar (22) and Lee Yonh Lepcha (20) were the main run-getters in their second innings.
Jotin Pheiroijam was the star performer for Manipur on the third day by racking up four wickets after taking one earlier on the second day (Wednesday) .
Kishan, who shone with the ball with three-wicket haul on Wednesday, added one wicket on Thursday, while Bikash got one for the state team.
