M Arnika is first girl from NE to make it to RIMC

Keithelmanbi Battalion under the aegis of IGAR (South) felicitated Moirangthem Arnika Devi, first among girls from North East to make it to the prestigious Rashtriya Indian Military College Dehradun today.
"A red-letter event was created in the history of Manipur and Assam Rifles, as Miss Moirangthem Arnika Devi, daughter of Havildar Moirangthem Ibomcha of 2 Assam Rifles got shortlisted for admission to the prestigious Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun," said a statement of the IGAR (South).
M Arnika hails from Khangabok, Thoubal district.
Her sheer hard work and dedication led her to being the first girl student from Manipur and North East to achieve this feat.
M Arnika is among five girl students shortlisted from across India for admission to RIMC, Dehradun, said AR.
The effort of Keithelmanbi Battalion to motivate the youth to choose a righteous path towards Nation building has been continuous and laudable.
In order to keep the flame going high, a felicitation ceremony was organized to felicitate Arnika by the Commandant of the Keithelmanbi Battalion, added the AR's statement.
