Manipur are 17 runs away from win against Meghalaya after taking a 63 run first innings lead and bowling out Meghalaya for second innings total of 91 runs on Day 2 of their penultimate league match at MCA Cricket Ground in Shillong.
The senior team are on the brink of the outright victory all thanks to bowlers who dismissed Meghalaya for 157 runs in the first innings in 53.1 overs yet again shone today as Manipur racked up first innings total of 220 runs in 65.2 overs courtesy of sensible batting performances from Langlonyamba.

Resuming their second winnings this morning, Ronald M and Jotin gathered 34 runs together before Jotin (20) departed for the fifth wicket in the 33 rd over as Manipur had 103 runs on the scoreboard.
Ronald M then paired up well with P Prafullomani to stitch together a 55-run partnership making singles and hitting five fours before he was run out for 43 runs for the 7th wicket.
Rex who came in after Ronald M had to take some time off due to an injury had forged a 41-run 6th wicket partnership with Prafullomani off 46 deliveries before trapped lbw for 27 runs by Bishnoi Jr in the 44th over as the scoreboard read 157.Prafullomani anchored well and scored an unbeaten 50 off 81 balls finding the fence 8 times (8x4) to help Manipur gather first innings total of 220 runs in 65.2 overs.
It was his third half century in the Ranji Trophy this season.
Trailing behind by 63 run, Meghalaya carried forward the day with their second innings but succumbed to 91 total in 34 overs as pace duo of Jotin Pheiroijam (3/21 in 11 overs which include 3 maidens) and Rex (3/21 in 6 overs including 1 maiden) shared a bulk of 6 wickets to leave a huge dent and L Kishan Singha who was wrecker in chief in the first innings scalped twice (2/27 in 12 overs including 3 maidens).
Kishan Lyndoh (29), RB Bishnoi Jr (27 not out) and Tarique were the only batters for Meghalaya who managed double digit scores in this innings which also saw Bishworjit take a wicket.
Carrying on the day, Manipur lost Kamajit for yet another duck after being trapped in front by Abhishek in the first over of the second innings and were 12 for 1 (in ) 3 overs) with B Rahaman (5) and Ronald M (7) unbeaten on the crease at Stumps.
