NSUC imposes restriction

Naga Students' Union Chandel (NSUC) has imposed restrictions on use of microphone/ loudspeaker and organising concert, Mela, Winters Meet, public gathering, picnic, etc in residential areas or where educational institutions are situated till the completion of Secondary and Higher Secondary examinations conducted by all Boards & Councils.
In a release, NSUC also prohibited selling intoxicant products in areas near educational institutions.
"Use of loudspeakers or social gathering in the evening/night, any kind of nuisance shall be avoided in order to encourage our dear students who are appearing in the Secondary and Higher Secondary examinations", it added.
NSUC appealed to the public to cooperate with the Union by imposing Student Curfew with effect from January 12, 2023 (6 pm to 6 am) till the completion of the examinations.
The Union also cautioned that if any student is found loitering around without any reason shall be dealt with strictly.
NSUC further wishes best of luck to all the students who are appearing in the exams.
