LMG continues philanthropic activities

Imphal, January 11 2023:
The Like Minded Group (LMG), Manipur has provided monetary aid of Rs 12,000 (twelve thousand rupees) to Kongkham (Ongbi) Abe Devi who lost her husband and two children in an unfortunate accident which occurred on January 2 near Samurou Oil Pump at Mayai Lambi.
According to a press release issued by LMG, today's monetary donation marks the 80th aid initiative extended by LMG to those in need.
The LMG team was led by L Kunjeshwor Sharma, president, LMG and others in the team include Tiken Sagolsem, Arun and Kunjeshwor Mangsatabam among others.
In this connection, Ojit Sorokhaibam, secretary, LMG stated that people live their lives oblivious to unpredictable tragic incidents that could befall upon them without any prior indication.
In such circumstances when misfortune befalls an individual/family, extending help and support to these people lends meaning to human life, he said.
He also sought the support of the public in LMG's endeavours.
It may be noted that Kongkham Jayanta (47) and his two daughters Kongkham Abe (7) and Kongkham Bijubala (4) lost their lives when the red Maruti 800 they were travelling in plunged into a pond on the way to their home at Uchiwa Mamang Leikai on the night of January 2.The statement from LMG also shared that Kongkham Jayanta is survived by his aforementioned wife and seven year old son.
The Like Minded Group team also offered prayers to the Almighty to protect the bereaved family from any misfortune and for the peace of the departed souls.
