"Meeyamgi Numit & Hill Leaders Day" held across State

District Administration Bishnupur today observed "Meeyamgi Numit" at Panchayat Resource Centre, Mini Secretariat, Bishnupur district.
During the programme, Deputy Commissioner Bishnupur, Lourembam Bikram accompanied by SDOs and DLOs heard the grievances of as many as 239 applicants.
The DC also distributed wheelchairs and other assorted devices to three senior citizens under Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana scheme.
Widow Pension, Old Age Pension and CMHT cards were the major grievances raised by the public.
Few applications were also received for Ration Cards, Housing and scholarship for Covid orphans.
District Social Welfare, Chief Medical Officer, District Supply Officer (CAF & PD), District Industries Centre, Horticulture & Soil Conservation, Handloom & Textiles, Weights & Measures and Kisan Credit Card stalls were set up to facilitate different concerns of the public.
CHURACHANDPUR
A total of 174 services/benefits of different Government schemes were delivered to beneficiaries during the monthly Meeyamgi Numit & Hill Leaders' Day organised by District Administration Churachandpur today at YPA Hall, Hiangtam Lamka.
DC Churachandpur, Sharath Chandra Arroju handed over some benefits/services to the beneficiaries directly.
Altogether, 36 grievances were received and 13 were disposed/resolved on the spot.
About 42 DLOs along with their staff took part in the event.
JIRIBAM
District Administration Jiribam today organised the 7th Meeyamgi Numit at DC Complex, Chingdong Leikai, Jiribam.
DC Jiribam, W Malemnganba Chenglei; Additional Deputy Commissioner Jiribam, Jameson Hangshing; Additional Superintendent of Police Jiribam, Emmanuel Fimate and other DLOs of various departments attended the event.
Altogether, 19 departments opened their stalls for delivering public services and grievances.
As many as 42 applications of various issues pertaining to issuance of OBC certificates, Income Certificates, Domicile Certificates and land records etc, were also received for further necessary action.
DC Jiribam heard the grievances of the people one-by-one and instructed the department officials concerned to redress their grievances.
SENAPATI
District Administration Senapati today organised the District Hill Leaders' Day & Meeyamgi Numit at Multipurpose Hall, Mini Secretariat, Senapati.
Issues relating to Old Age Pension, water supply, electricity, village development, rebuilding of footpath, land encroachment, etc were addressed during the event.
Agriculture Department also issued 4 Knapsack Sprayers and 3 Micronutrients; 54 Ration Cards from CAF & PD; 10 Yam Cards from District Handloom & Textile office and 14 persons were screened for Non-Communicable Disease by the Medical Department.
THOUBAL
"Meeyamgi Numit" was successfully organised by District Administration Thoubal today at the Counting Hall of DC's Office Complex.
DC Thoubal, A Subhash Singh along with DLOs heard various grievances and demands of the public.
He also distributed 4 CMHT cards and 1 disabled certificate to the beneficiaries.
34 applications relating to CMHT, 25 cases of old age pension and 18 cases of widow pension were registered.
A total of 21 stalls of different departments were opened to meet the demand of the public and 191 written applications were received.
