Next Gen MG Hector hunched in Imphal

MG (Morris Garages) Motors India launched its new autonomous level-2 SUV, the "MG Next-Gen Hector" at its Mantripukhri Imphal Showroom on Friday with additional chief secretary P Vaiphei as the chief guest.
Speaking to the media on the side-lines of the event, MG Motors Imphal relationship manager Nongmaithem Sadananda informed that the company ventured into India in 2017 and entered the Indian vehicle market only in 2019.The newly launched "MG Next-Gen Hector" is the company's latest offer for the year 2023 after the formal countrywide launch on January 9, Sadananda informed, adding that MG Gloster and MG GS-EV are the other options of the company currently on sale in the country.
Highlighting its features and safety, Sadananda informed that the vehicle is equipped with "Adaptive Cruise Control" which allows the SUV to follow the vehicle immediate ahead at a certain distance as well as autonomous emergency braking if necessary.
'Traffic Jam Assist' safety systems which could warn the driver of potential hazards and even intervene if necessary are among its many futuristic features, Sadananda informed, adding that it is available in 5, 6 and 7-seater options.
Regarding the price, he said the car ranges from Rs 14 lakh to Rs 26 Lakh and urged the public to test drive and enjoy its comforts.
The launched event was also attended by MG Motors, Imphal dealer principal N Dinel.
