Help extended to fire victim

Imphal, October 28 2021:
44 Assam Rifles provided assistance to a fire victim at Phellong village, Tousem sub division in Tamenglong district.
According to PIB (DW), house of one Arambou Pamai of Phellong village was gutted in fire while he was working in the paddy fields.
His entire house was reduced ashes and he lost everything including rations to feed his family.
The village is located approximately 35 km away from Tamenglong district headquarters.
The desperate farmer approached 44 Assam Rifles for assistance.
The Azuiram Company commander immediately assured of extending a helping hand to him.
As an immediate relief basic ration items were provided to him.
The battalion has also assured him of all possible help to bring his family back to normal life.
The fellow villagers have also helping him in reconstruction of his house.
