Imphal, October 28 2021: The All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) has urged all football organisers who are organising 7-a-side tournaments to organise either 5-a-side or 9-a-side tournaments as approved by the All India Football Federation.

While acknowledging the role of organisers/clubs and other stakeholders in encouraging football in the State, the AMFA informed that 7-a-side tournament is strictly prohibited.

As such those players participating in such a prohibited tournament will cease their Centralised Registration System (CRS) Nos and unregistered players will not be allowed to register in CRS.

Referees who are also conducting 7-a-side tournaments will cease their RIN Nos without further information, the AMFA warned.
