Imphal, October 28 2021:
Agriculture minister O Lukhoi has called upon the people of the state not to waste their votes on candidates, who would sit in the opposition, but to support candidates, who will be in the ruling bench.
Attending a one-day political conference organised by BJP Lamlai Mandal at Nongada Kameng Lampak on Thursday, Lukhoi said that the BJP government has been able to bring significant developmental changes in the state in the last few years.
As a result, BJP will return to power in the state and as such, electing candidates of other parties would be akin to wasting votes, he said.

People might get confused over the two Mandals but the matter will be resolved soon, he said while urging the public to support BJP in the forthcoming state assembly election.
Works minister Th Biswajit, Khurai MLA L Susindro, BJP Manipur Pradesh vice-president N Nimbus, BJP Imphal East president P December, BJP Lamlai Mandal president E Amitkumar and Telou Chana Saijang ZP member A Jamini also attended the political conference.
