Imphal, March 01 2023: Government bulletins on Wednesday reported no new case of Covid-19 from out of 100 samples tested in the last 24 hours.

On the other hand, no vaccine doses were administered on Tuesday and the total number of vaccinated people in the state remains at 16,49,403 out of which 13,39,133 had received the second dose and 2,80,402 taken precautionary doses.

So far, the state has recorded 1,39,924 positive cases out of which 2149 succumbed to the viral infection.

Meanwhile, a press release issued by RIMS medical superintendent informed that venue for Covid l9 vaccination at RIMS hospital will be shifted from District Early Intervention Centre to Injection Room (Room No 9) in general OPD block and vaccination will be done on every working Friday during OPD hours with effect from second week of March.

The arrangement has been made in order to avoid vaccine wastage as there are only few people, who come for Covid-19 vaccination, it added.
