Bishnupur, October 11 2021: A meeting convened on Sunday at the Ngaikhong Siphai Mamang Leikai residence of intending Congress candidate in Oinam assembly constituency and former Bishnupur Zilla Parishad adhyaksha Thokchom Ithoibi Devi has resolved to form Oinam Kendra Development Committee.

The meeting organised by Ngaikhong Siphai Development Committee also unanimously elected the new office bearers of Kendra Development Committee representing 13 villages of the constituency.

Speaking at the meeting, Th Ithoibi explained that her decision to contest the up-coming 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly Election from Oinam AC is to execute more people-oriented projects which she could not initiate as Zilla Parishad member and adhyaksha.

If she is elected as an MLA, her major focus will be on development of roadways in the constituency, Ithoibi said.

The meeting was attended by people from 13 villages of the AC .
