Medical camps conducted

44 Assam Rifles of 22 Sector/IGAR (East) organised one day medical camp at Abin village in Tousem sub-division in connection with the International Day of the Girl Child.
According to PIB (DW), celebrating 75 years of Independence as Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav, the unit also organised three days free medical camps in various parts of the sub-division as Ayush Ka Amrut.
During the camp, the medical team not only carried out medical check up but also distributed free medicines on the spot.
Altogether 175 villagers were, benefitted from the medical camp, it added.
On the other hand, Teng-noupal Battalion of IGAR (S) organised a medical camp at Kwatha village in Tengnoupal district on Sunday to aid the villagers who have no access to basic healthcare services and raise awareness on importance of vaccination amid resurgence of Covid-19.The medical team carried out check-up of 35 men, 20 women, 23 children and provided them basic medicines, informed PRO IGAR (S) .
