Non-tribal, vendors celebrate Nemcha's victory

The non-tribal residents of Kangpokpi town celebrated the victory of BJP candidate Nemcha Kipgen in the recent 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election during the Holi festival.
Mukund Pandey, a businessman of the town, said that Holi is one of the most revered and celebrated festivals of India and non-tribal of Kangpokpi town celebrated victory of Nemcha Kipgen.
She is a true leader who accommodates sentiments of all communities and works selflessly for the welfare of all irrespective of caste, creed and religion and people live peacefully under her leadership, Pandey added.
Meanwhile, mothers (Imas) of Nute Kailhang irrespective of communities also celebrated the victory of Nemcha Kipgen at Nute Kailhang premises where Thabal Chongba was organised till late in the evening.
The programme was also attended by MLA Nemcha Kipgen, who joined the Thabal Chongba along with mothers and others.
