Manipur are trailing behind Mumbai by 559 runs at stumps on Day 2 in the first match (Elite) of the ongoing U-25 Men's Col CK Nayudu Trophy 2021-22 at CAP Ground 3, Puducherry.
Mumbai amassed a staggering total of 604 runs for 6 after 150.2 overs in the first innings after winning the toss.
Musheer Khan struck a double ton (267 off 408 balls) for Mumbai as his team-mates, Subed Parkar hit an unbeaten 162 off 252 balls and Armaan Jaffer knocked 88 off 129 balls.
Alfred Hmar of Manipur took 2 wickets in this innings which continued till today while Jotin Pheiroijam, Denin, Nitesh and Bikash earned a wicket each.
Manipur were 45 for 3 (29 overs) at stumps today with Al Bashid (3) and Jotin Ph (9) on the crease after Nitesh (13), Nawaz (8) and Guniram (1) faltered cheaply.
Khizar Dafedar of Mumbai snared two wickets as Atharva claimed one.
