TCMDC, RCA and MPSC victorious in 1st MNCA Super Plate tourney

TCMDC, RCA and MPSC secured wins in today's Group B matches of the ongoing 1st MNCA Super Plate Tourney.
TCMDC, Thongju were able to beat ESU, Wangkhei by 3 wickets for the second win in four matches of the tourney here at Langthabal Public Ground.
Put in to bat first, ESU bundled out for 119 in 37.3 overs as TCMDC bowlers, Thongam Tukjit fetched three wickets and Suraj Kharibam and Kongbrailatpam Kalyan bagged two wickets each.
Oliver (35) was the highest run getter for the Wangkhei side in this innings which also saw Laishram Vivekananda, Huirongbam Babulu and Pukhrambam Paikhombajeet claiming a wicket each.

In reply, TCMDC rode on Suraj Kharibam (26), P Paikhombajeet (19), L Vivekananda (19 not out), Khundrakpam Bijesh (14) and Leihaothabam Tondon (13) to post a winning 120 total for 7 in 32.1 overs.
Chongtham Mehul Shreth was the pick of ESU bowlers as he fetched 3 wickets for 27 runs in the TCMDC chase.
Suraj Kharibam of TCMDC was adjudged man of the match.
Elsewhere at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium, RCA, Lilong sealed a 9 wicket win over SDC, Laipham Khunou thanks to Aziz Mirza's 5 wicket haul.
SDC won the toss and opted to bat first.
But they were skittled out for just 60 runs within 20.4 overs as Aziz Mirza wreaked havoc.
Bm Sabakhan, Md Aqeel, Naesh Hussain and Md Iliyas Khan also bagged a wicket each to restrict SDC to 60 runs.
In the chase, RCA only lost Aziz Mirza (27) to Suraj Maibam before Zamir Khan (16) and Syed Hussain (8) sealed the deal within 6.5 overs.
Aziz Mirza was eventually named man of the match.
Meanwhile, at Model Hr Secondary and Oriental College Ground, MPSC registered their second win in three matches by beating KASC by 62 runs.
Let to bat first, MPSC stacked up 212 for 6 thanks to a half centuries by Gelson Thoudam (57), Soubam Kingson (52 not out) and Potsangbam Bonem (45) and restricted KASC to 150 for 9 in 33.4 overs.
MPSC innings witnessed Md Fajiruddin picking up three wickets but his efforts went in vain as their chase ended with 150 runs on the scoreboard despite efforts from Md Ali Karim (49) and Md Shahir Khan (30) .
MPSC's Oinam Rojit (3/25) and Sarangthem Shangker (3/31) enjoyed three wicket hauls in the KASC's chase while Soubam Kishan bagged two wickets and earned the man of the match trophy.
