Source: The Sangai Express
Imphal, March 23 2022:
The Assam State Unit of World Meetei Council (WMC) has expressed concern over the three days bandh called in Angami dominated areas of Nagaland protesting against the stationing of Manipur Police personnel in the disputed area of Kezoltsa bordering Manipur and Nagaland has affected the National Highways which are the lifeline of Manipur.
Therefore in the interest of all the native people of the Northeast, the Unit appealed to the Southern Angami People's Organization (SAPO) to review the decision and opt for alternative ways without disturbing the flow of National Highways and not victimizing the innocent people of the region.
