Dr Achingliu Kamei wins award

Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma (ARSD) College, Delhi University associate professor Dr Achingliu Kamei was one of the recipients of the International Women of the Year Award, 2022 presented by Centre for Professional Advancement (A Unit of International Multidisciplinary Research Foundation), Delhi on Wednesday.
She was awarded for 'English Literature Research & Teaching'.
The Award was giverrby an academic body on the occasion of International Women's Day to encourage academicians.
It may be mentioned that Dr Achingliu Kamei is a short story writer and poet and presently teaches literature in the English Department of ARSD College.
Several of her poems have been published in anthologies and journals in India, USA, Australia and Singapore.
She has also authored several books apart from presenting papers in na tional/international sem-inars/conferences.
She is also a keen runner and has completed numerous marathons and ultra-marathons.
Dr Achingliu Kamei hails from Inriangluang, Tamenglong town and is daughter of Late Tinggem Kamei (Father) and Late Gaichunliu Tp (Mothet).
She married to Aaron Pamei, who is presently serving as a director in the Ministry of Defence, India.
