SDWA congratulates newly elected MLAs

Senapati District Women Association (SDWA) had issued a congratulatory note to all the newly elected MLAs to the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly.
In a press note, SDWA congratulated N Biren Singh, who is the caretaker chief minister, on being re-elected as member of the Assembly by over 17,000 votes from his nearest rival.
With his sincere contributions and constant hard work, BJP has achieved historic victory with absolute majority in the recent assembly election.
Such historic victory is a testament and people s faith on BJP, it mentioned, while adding that they appreciate N Biren for his selfless contribution to the organisation for upliftment of women.
The Association further conveyed that it looks forward for support and developmental works as the former CM had assured and prays for returning of his leadership as chief minister for the second term.
SDWA also extended congratulations to the three MLAs elected from Senapati district including N Kayisii (Tadubi), Losii Dikho (Mao) and J Komu Sha (Karong).
The Association hoped that they will execute their duties to their best ability and bring development in the district.
SDWA further congratulated the newly elected five women MLAs namely Nemcha Kipgen (Kangpokpi), SS Olish (Chandel), Irengbam Nalini Devi (Oinam), Sagolshem Kebi Devi (Naoriya Pakhanglakpa) and Kimneo Haokip Hangshing (Saikul).
SDWA fully trusts that state government will respect women reservation policy and is hopeful that it will translate into action by giving cabinet berth to women in the new government, it emphasised.
