Mass free medical camp held

Imphal, January 14 2023:
United Club and Library (UCAL) along with Langol View Hospital and Research Institute Private Limited and All Smile Dental Care jointly organised a mass free medical camp at UCAL community hall, Uripok Khwairak Selungba Leirak, here, on Saturday.
During the medical camp, dental, cardiology, ECG, paediatric, orthopaedic, ENT, aesthetic and cosmetology, dermatology, surgery, medicine, gynecology and other related illnesses were treated and medicines provided free of cost.
In all, 423 availed benefit of the medical camp.
Speaking in this regard, UCAL president Ratan Luwang said that the free medical camp was conducted in view of the increasing illnesses caused by changing weather condition.
While informing that Uripok Sinam Leikai, Uripok Bachaspati Leikai and Uripok Haobam Dewan Leikai are under the jurisdiction of the club, he maintained that the club has been taking up numerous initiatives to prevent people from abusing addictive substances and to remain healthy.
In order to keep pet animals healthy, a mass free veter inary health check-up and vaccination camp will also be conducted by joining hands with veterinary department, PV Poly Vets Clinic, Haobam Dewan Leikai on Sunday, he informed.
Langol View Hospital and Research Institute Private Limited medical superintendent Dr Shiven Dev Hawaibam also took part in the camp.
