All India Congress Committee (AICC) observer V Narayanasamy, who is currently in the state, has said that Congress party will show good result in the 2024 parliamentary election and the Congress era would return.

While questioning if the BJP government led by PM Modi is a democratic one, the AICC observer recalled that BJP forcibly grabbed power in 2017 in states like Manipur, Goa, Meghalaya and MP.
He said that prices of essential commodities particularly petrol and gas skyrocketed during the BJP rule while GDP of the country dropped from 9 percent during the Congress rule to 5 percent under the present BJP government.

Thousands of people are joining Rahul Gandhi in the Bharat Jodo Yatra and meeting about resuming the Yatra in Manipur is being discussed, he said and claimed that the Yatra would strengthen love and understanding among different sections of people.
