Computer application course begins

Imphal, January 12 2023:
A three-month computer application training course, which is being organised by Manipur State Cooperative Union (MSCU) commenced at the training hall of Centre for Cooperative Management, Lamphelpat, Imphal West from Thursday.
Registrar of Cooperative Societies Valentina Arambam and MSCU Board of Administration chairman L Tompishak attended the inaugural function as chief guest and president respectively while MSCU CEO Jiten, and board members Maisnam Shivdutta Luwang & Sougrakpam Hemanta were present as guests of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Valentina Arambam expressed concern over'the declining cooperative movement in the state and called for public participation in reviving it.
She urged the members of Cooperative Societies, who are participating in the training, to take maximum benefits of the training course.
Centre for Cooperative Management principal G Jamuna said that the training course has been organised with the objective to promote computer literacy among the members of cooperative societies of the state considering the changing requirement in today's digital age.
Altogether 30 members from differ ent cooperative societies are participating in the training programme, she added.
