Awareness on rights, cooperatives held

Kakching, January 12 2023:
A one day District Level Awareness Programme on the theme "Child rights and teacher stress' was conducted at Liwa Changning High School, Komlathabi in Chandel district on Thursday.
The programme organised for Chandel and Tengnoupal districts by Manipur Commission for Protection of Child Rights (MCPCR) was attended by ZEO Chandel/Tengnoupal Hemchand Yumnam, School headmistress Sheipham Royel Moyon, CWC Tengnoupal member Damgam Khaling and MCPCR member Kh Jitendra as presidium members.
During the event, Kh Jitendra talked on child rights, while Sikkim University clinical psychologist & research scholar LK Kalpana highlighted the tension, stressful situations faced by the teachers in the classroom and how to manage it.
Around 50 participants, mostly from teaching community took part at the programme.
On the other-hand, National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI) - Cooperative Education Field Project, Thoubal conducted a one-day Awareness Programme on Cooperatives at Representatives of Lois (RoL), Kakching auditorium on Thursday.
The programme organised under the sponsorship of NCUI-New Delhi was attended by Kakching MLA Mayanglambam Rameshwar as chief guest and Project Coordination Committee, Manipur chairperson, Manipur State Cooperative Union, Imphal vice president & NCUI-Governing Council member Jeena Potshangbam as president, while Kakching district cooperative officer K Dilipkumar and Manipur State Co-operative Bank Limited Board of Management president P Ranjit were present as guests of honour.
