Don't obstruct indigenes: Arambai Tenggol

Expressing strong resentment and regret over the unwanted incident that happened to four girls from Naga community at Kwakeithel area on Wednesday, Arambai Tenggol has urged all not to obstruct movement or any work of indigenous Naga community as all indigenes are one and have been living harmoniously with each other.
In a release, Arambai Tenggol urged valley people to ensure that such unwanted incidents do not recur and cautioned of doing the needful in case anybody defies its humble appeal.
The organisation also requested local clubs, meira paibi groups and womenfolk to take appropriate preventive measures and further conveyed to all to pray for return of normalcy and peace in the state.
In connection with the assault on four Tangkhul girls by a mob of Meitei Hindu and Meitei people at Kwakeithel, Imphal on Wednes-day, International Federation of Yoga Alliance (IFOYA) Corporate office Spain, UK, Canada, USA, 35 country and Shri Krishna Classical Yoga Group of India, New Delhi have expressed their regret.
In a release, the Alliance opined that the mob was un-aware the women were from Tangkhul community and acted impulsively after Kuki militants under So0 shot at three Meitei people, resulting in the death of one.
As such, all Yoga sportspersons and Meitei people residing outside Manipur and in foreign coun-try appealed to all concerned not to repeat such acts in the future.
