Rayburn College gets B++ grade

Rayburn College, Churachandpur has been accredited 'B++' grade with a CGPA of 2.96 by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), which assesses and rates colleges and universities in the country.
Informing this to media persons, Rayburn College principal Khen P Tombing said that the college has earned the B++ grade accreditation after securing 2.96 CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average), adding that the accreditation is valid for a period of five years, starting from February 7, 2023 .
The final assessment result was informed to him by Dr SC Sharma from the NAAC peer team, added P Tombing.
Mention may be made here that the Churachandpur Government College had earned B+ grade last year (2022) with a CGPA of 2.61 .
This year's assessment of the college was conducted by Dr Murlidhar Chandekhar, chairperson of peer team, along with members Kulandeivelu and Sher Bahadur Singh.
For the assessment, the NAAC team physically turned up to the college for award of 30 marks and rest of the 70 marks are provided through SSR online.
As per the UGC/NAAC grading of various colleges in Manipur, Don Bosco College, Maram has secured the highest rank with a CGPA of 3.35 CGPA, Raybum College is ranked second with 2.96 CGPA, S Kula Women's College third, and Churachandpur Government College stands fourth.
In celebration of the B++ grade accreditation, the Rayburn College declared a holiday on Wednesday, the principal further informed.
