MPSC recommended candidates yet to get offer form

Even after two and half months of declaration of results of the Manipur Civil Services Combined Competitive (Mains) Exam ination-2016 (2022), which was re-conducted as per the directive of Supreme Court of India, the successful candidates are yet to be issued the offer form.
Mention may be made here that some candidates who were unsuccessful in the Manipur Civil Services Combined Competitive (Mains) Examination conducted in 2016 by the Ma nipur Public Service Commission (MPSC) approached the court for annulling the examination following detection of irregularities/ mistakes in replies of the RTI they filed.
Later, the Supreme Court of India gave the directive to re-conduct the examination in November, 2022 .
As per order of the apex court, the examination should be re-conducted within four months' time and all the candidates who appeared in the mains examination conducted in September, 2016 can appear in the fresh examination.
The judgement of the apex court also mentioned that successful candidates will have service continuity and enjoy consequential benefits.
Result of the Manipur Civil Services Combined Competitive (Mains) Ex-amination-2016 (2022) was declared on November 22, 2022 and MPSC recommended a combined merit list comprising 168 successful candidates to the government.
As per recommendation of the MPSC, the department of personnel and adminis trative reforms (personnel division) issued a notification on December 30, 2022 informing successful candidates recommended for different posts like MCS, MPS, SDC, MSS and EO to collect offer form from the DP section from December 31, 2022 to January 13, 2023.However, another order issued by the same depart ment on the next day (December 31) cancelled the notification.
Interestingly, in-spite of fresh conduct of the Manipur Civil Services Combined Competitive (Mains) Examination subsequent to alleged irregularities in the 2016 exam, there is no report of punitive action, if any, initiated against guilty official(s) .
