CM adds human touch to GTH

Bringing human touch to governance, Chief Minister N Biren touched the hearts of the thousands of people gathered at the Go to Hills 2.0 held at Brigadier Thomas Ground, Kangpokpi district on Monday.
CM Biren brought human touch to governance and melted the hearts of the thousands of people gathered.
During the community outreach initiative of the government, N Biren immediately provided a wheelchair to a differently abled person who went up to the stage to submit a memorandum seeking financial assistance for the construction of All Disables' Union Sadar Hills, Kangpokpi.
After receiving the memorandum, he asked Thangmonlal Hangshing whether he has got wheelchair which is being provided by the government to the differently-abled persons under CMST scheme.
His reply made the CM instruct the officials of the Social Welfare department to provide a wheelchair on the spot.
Later, the chief minister handed over the wheelchair to Thangmonlal Hangshing.
Talking to DIPR, Thangmonlal said that he had never expected such a moving gesture shown by the chief minister.
He expressed his happiness to Biren and the government officials for providing a wheelchair to a differently-abled person during the Go to Hills function.
He also appreciated the government under the leadership of N Biren for its people centric governance and for implementation of various welfare schemes for poor and needy people.
